Is Pediatric Physical Therapy Right for Your Child?

Parents often come to us with questions like:

  • “My baby isn’t rolling, crawling, or sitting yet — should I be worried?”

  • “My toddler is clumsy, stiff, or struggling to keep up with peers.”

  • “My child seems uncomfortable or avoids certain movements.”

  • “We’ve been told to get PT for torticollis or a flat spot — where do we start?”

  • “Could gentle bodywork help my baby relax, move better, or feel more at ease?”

If any of these sound familiar, you’re in the right place.

At Movevery, Dr. Nicole provides all evaluations, all sessions, and all follow-up support herself, ensuring your child gets the consistency, connection, and expert care they deserve — from newborn through early childhood.

Supporting Your Child’s Movement, Growth, and Confidence

At Movevery, Dr. Nicole provides play-based, child-led physical therapy to support babies, toddlers, and young children through every developmental milestone. With one dedicated clinician, your family receives consistent, personalized care from start to finish.

She specializes in three key areas:

  • Motor Milestone Assistance – Supporting rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, and walking with confidence.

  • Manual Therapy & Bodywork – Gentle, hands-on techniques to release tension and improve mobility.

  • Torticollis & Head Shape Support – Targeted treatment for torticollis and plagiocephaly with stretching and positioning strategies.

Whether in the clinic, at home, or online, Dr. Nicole makes therapy simple, flexible, and stress-free for your family.

Our clients begin their journey at Movevery with a 60-minute initial evaluation. This session includes a comprehensive systems review and an assessment of your child's functional abilities including age-appropriate mobility skills, posture, balance & coordination, flexibility, strength, quality of movements, motor planning, and gait as applicable. We’ll thoroughly discuss your child’s history, review concerns and challenges, and set goals for therapy. From there, we will determine the needs of your family and child and create an actionable follow-up care plan if physical therapy treatment is appropriate. Parents and guardians will always leave the session with practical activities to incorporate into their child’s daily routine. Lastly, we identify and provide referrals outside the scope of physical therapy practice if needed.

  • $175

After the initial evaluation, we may recommend follow-up sessions as part of your child’s treatment plan. These sessions, lasting up to 60 minutes, are tailored to your child’s needs and designed to help improve their mobility, release body tension, achieve gross motor goals, enhance physical function, and improve their quality of life and independence. All sessions incorporate age-appropriate activities to enhance strength, balance, coordination, motor planning, and more. They also include a variety of modalities, including the Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), Total Motion Release (TMR) Tots, and infant massage. Strategies and guidance are provided to help set up your child’s environment for optimal skill development. Parent and guardian coaching and education are always included. After each session, you will receive detailed updated activities and recommendations to support your child’s progress.

  • The cost of sessions is the same as in-clinic support, plus $20 to cover travel time and gas expenses.

  • Movevery is an out-of-network practice and does not directly bill your insurance company. To provide concierge one-on-one care, Movevery operates as a cash-pay practice. However, we will provide you with a detailed invoice to submit to your insurance if you choose.

The detailed invoice acts as a superbill and includes all the information, along with medical and treatment codes, needed to submit for reimbursement. Reimbursement is person and plan dependent. If you self-refer, we recommend varying your out-of-network physical therapy benefits if you plan to seek reimbursement, as some may require a physician referral, and without it, they may deny your claim. Wellness consultations are not subject to reimbursement from insurance companies.

When paying out of pocket, there is no limit on the physical therapy services your child can receive as long as they are deemed appropriate based on the patient’s evaluation.

Payment is due at the time of service. Movevery’s online appointment scheduler will prompt you to provide payment via credit card, FSA, or HSA card.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt you could receive from a healthcare provider, typically after an out-of-network visit. It acts like a bridge between you and your insurance company for out-of-network benefits. Think of it as an itemized explanation of the services you received, along with medical and treatment codes that help insurance understand what care was provided. This information determines how much they can reimburse you for the visit.

Superbills are NOT bills but rather detailed receipts to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance. You must submit the superbill to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

  • Evaluations are up to 90 minutes to allow for a comprehensive history and assessment. Follow-up visits and virtual physical therapy sessions are 60 minutes, though I will follow your baby's lead as they can be unpredictable. Milestone consultations are 30 minutes.
